The Gluten Intolerance Group is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide support to those with any form of gluten intolerance. GIG-Montgomery will assist with awareness of diverse potential symptoms, which can range from fatigue and headaches to nausea and intestinal problems. Guidelines will be provided on how to eat safely both at home and eating out. Another objective is to facilitate more effective communication between the local gluten free community and stores, restaurants, and the medical community.
The first community-wide meeting will be Thursday, February 24th from 6-7 pm in Room C200 of Taylor Road Baptist Church, 1685 Taylor Road. Please come and share your questions and concerns so that we can better serve the community. Our collective voice can accomplish more than we can individually!
